This feels like a bye week since the Steelers played Thursday. The Media is driving me nuts this week regarding “Silverback” James Harrison. It is fair to say that we are biased towards Silverback, I don’t think his play on Colt McCoy is dirty but it DEFINITELY warrants a fine. You can’t hit anyone especially a QB with your helmet. We are not going to sugar coat it. But these discussions about his possible suspension are plain nonsense. He has count them; one personal foul, this year. The media is up and arms about him as some type of dirty player.
The other media speculation that is driving me up a wall is, the Ben Roethlisberger and Maurkice Pouncey injuries. The reports as late as Sunday were practically they were going to have to have their respective ankles amputated. Now they have a mild sprain. Who knows?

I rarely disagree with your commentary but on this one I must respond. You truly believe that the hit on Colt DEFINITELY warrents a fine or do you believe that since he is a repeat offender that he DEFINITELY will receive a fine. To me there is a difference. The fine to me would be bullshit as all the others were. A suspension will be a travesty. 15 yards is penalty enough for playing hard and aggressive. Colt was running was out of the pocket and Silverback hit him the only way he knows how…HARD!! I personally think you are splitting hairs when you say helmet to helmet and he hit him in the chest with his shoulder but he hit him so hard that the helmet’s did make contact but it is not like his intentions were for the helmets to collide. Yes, his intentions are to hurt the opposing QB but that is how we expect him to play every down. He will probably receive a fine but I am not going to sugar coat it, that is the only way I want him to play and I disagree with the fine as well as the possible suspension!!

Harrison suspended for a game…and you thought the media was driving you nuts before the suspension was passed down?
