The Steelers made a major splash in the offseason to address their quarterback woes. Grabbing a past and hopefully future great:
- Russell Wilson: A veteran quarterback with a Super Bowl win and multiple Pro Bowl appearances. Wilson brings experience, leadership, and a dynamic skillset to the Steelers offense.
- Justin Fields: A young, talented quarterback with starting experience. Fields provides depth and competition at the position, and could potentially be the future starter.
BIG win for Omar Khan, trading for Fields and signing Wilson on a team-friendly deal. This gives them a strong starting option in Wilson with a high-potential backup in Fields, completely revamping their quarterback situation from uncertainty to a position of strength.
Trading Kenny Pickett was rough, but “we want volunteers, not hostages”
