Since 1969 the Steelers have built their teams through the draft. Here is a look back at the recent history of the Steelers in the last ten years with a grade for each first round pick!

2020: No first-round selection A Alright cheating a little, but this Pick is Minkah Fitzpatrick so going A
2019: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan (No. 10 overall) INC Early signs are that this is a great pick, but still too early to tell
2018: Terrell Edmunds, S, Virginia Tech (No. 28) INC Too early to tell, lot of haters on this guy, but he is coming into his own
2017: T.J. Watt, LB, Wisconsin (No. 30) A+ Not sure it could get better than this guy, new face of the franchise
2016: Artie Burns, CB, Miami (No. 25) F Never lived up to potential and is now a memory
2015: Bud Dupree, LB, Kentucky (No. 22) A- Took a little longer to develop but was an outstanding contributor
2014: Ryan Shazier, LB, Ohio State (No. 15) A Would have been an A+, was on track for an amazing career, was still great!
2013: Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia (No. 17) D Never realized his potential and is now out of football
2012: David DeCastro, G, Stanford (No. 24) A+ One of the best guards if not the best guard in football (Special to KGB and me)
2011: Cameron Heyward, DE, Ohio State (No. 31) A+ The Anchor of the defense for the past ten seasons!
