Okay so last week’s preseason game was a mild success. The result is irrelevant, most important thing is that no one was injured and for the most part the first and second teams played well.<\/p>\n
The Good:<\/p>\n
-Daryl Richardson had a great game and has the pressure on Fitz Toussaint.<\/p>\n
-James Harrison and the defense stepped up when needed!<\/p>\n
-Darrius Heyward-Bey made a strong case to win the Martavis Bryan sweepstakes. After an early drop he made a great catch for the offensive touchdown.<\/p>\n
-Landry Jones put in a decent effort and made a case to win the backup job.<\/p>\n
-The offensive line looked very solid.<\/p>\n
The Bad:<\/p>\n
-Tackling was mediocre.<\/p>\n
-Sean Davis has a long way to go.<\/p>\n
-Bruce Gradkowski went out after a promising start.<\/p>\n
-Dustin Vaughan has the look and the arm of an NFL QB, but his results were awful.<\/p>\n
Tonight the Steelers host the cross state rival Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n
